We launched The Andrew in March 2025, as a new kind of hybrid ministry—not just a church, not just a rental venue, but a shared space animated by faith, creativity, and inclusion.

Vision Statement

The Andrew envisions a community where every person belongs, every story is honoured, and where the love of neighbour is lived out through creativity, hospitality, and justice. Rooted in the gospel, The Andrew seeks to embody a post-colonial inclusive vision of Christianity — one that replaces hierarchy with humility, and exclusion with belonging. We imagine a space where sacredness and community meet, where difference is celebrated, and where all who enter can encounter grace, hope, and renewal.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Andrew is to be “A Space for Every Story.”

We live this mission by:

• Offering an inspiring, accessible, and affordable gathering place for worship, community events, and creative expression.

• Building partnerships with local organizations, not-for-profits, and grassroots initiatives that strengthen the wellbeing of our neighbours, particularly the vulnerable, and embody reconciliation in practice.

The Andrew exists to nurture authentic, barrier-free community by transforming the legacy of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church into “a space for every story.” Its purpose is to remove colonial and institutional barriers that have kept people at a distance from sacred space and to create a welcoming hub where people of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs can gather. Rooted in the gospel values of love of neighbour, hospitality, justice, and inclusivity, The Andrew provides an accessible venue for worship, creativity, collaboration, conversations that matter. Through partnerships with local organizations and grassroots initiatives, the ministry strengthens the fabric of community life in Prince Edward County.
