We will meet at the Macaulay Heritage Park Museum parking lot, 35 Church Street, Picton. The hike will take us into the park and then we will take a parallel angled trail up to the ridge and then work our way back via Bird House City to the parking lot. This is a great time to see the winter forest. I walked the trail a couple days ago and there are a few slippery spots. I recommend sturdy boots, hiking poles, water and a snack. The duration is +/- 2 hours.

Our walk today will include a small forest walk and we will continue onto the Cedar Nature Trail that follows the Outlet River.

This is a great time to see the depth of the forest now that most of the leaves have fallen.
